Natus Vincere – Na’Vi – is one of the most legendary teams in Counter-Strike history: the first team ever to win three major CS 1.6 tournaments in a single year (IEM, ESWC and WCG in 2010). Their golden CS 1.6 era, with players like markeloff, ceh9 and Zeus, inspired countless fan builds of the game, and the Na’Vi Edition is the best known of them.
What is CS 1.6 Na’Vi Edition?
It is a fan-made theme built on the standard Counter-Strike 1.6 client. The gameplay is untouched – same maps, same weapons, same recoil – but the presentation is fully Na’Vi styled:
- Na’Vi-themed menu background, GUI and music.
- Player models in yellow-and-black Na’Vi colors.
- Matching hand and weapon models.
- Bots included and a working server browser, like our standard client.
- The original edition’s interface is in Russian – the fan build came from the CIS community.
Should you pick the Na’Vi Edition or the classic client?
If you want the game itself, we recommend the clean Counter-Strike 1.6 download – it is the original look, English interface, and the safest choice for playing on public servers.
